Description
Louisiana Tech University and the city of Ruston created a mock airplane accident for disaster training. This project was designed to test the abilities of our emergency services in Ruston, Louisiana. Additionally it served as a reciprocal learning exercise for all agencies and students participating in the drill. This service learning session highlights the partnership between law enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, EMS, nursing students, and area health care agencies.
