Dean: Pamela Kennett-Hensel

The University of New Orleans College of Business is located in Kirschman Hall near the banks of Lake Pontchartrain on the northern edge of the city. The College is led by Dean John A. Williams and has over 3000 graduate and undergraduate students studying in 18 programs and concentrations. It is one of the largest colleges of business in the Gulf Coast region and business students make up over one-fourth of the UNO student body.

The College is fully accredited by AACSB International and many of its programs have received regional, national and international awards and acclaim. Faculty in the College are teacher-scholar-practitioners who prepare business leaders for the next generation. Our students graduate prepared to take on the challenges in business that range from starting a small business to supplying the global marketplace.

Many resources are available to support and assist prospective students, current students, alumni, faculty and staff. Counselors are in the business of helping students, alumni groups are great for networking and finding connections, and the UNO Business Alumni Council is an active group supporting the continued development of the College.

In addition to research and teaching, the College of Business also provides various community services through its support of research and business centers.
