Examines the picaresque elements in the 1972 motion picture `The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie,' directed by Luis Bunuel. Characterization of baroque mentality in the film; Analysis on the character of Rafael, the picaresque protagonist in the film; Reflection of the personality of Bunuel in the character of Rafael.
