Students participated in learning and service activities by growing a vegetable garden to feed the hungry, improving the landscaping around their school, and walking with pedometers. To celebrate the service-learning project, students participated in Global Youth Service Day. The presenters will explain how the activities linked to instruction in science, history, and healthy leaving.
