Description

Clinical learning activities enhance nursing students understanding from theoretical to reality. The objective of this study is to evaluate the nursing students perception and the effectiveness of the various activities. This study analyzed nursing students responses of the clinical learning activities from a long-term care facility and a hospital setting in Northeast Louisiana. Quantitative survey questions used Likert 5-point scale to score the responses. For qualitative data, major themes were identified. The finding suggested that the hospital setting was ranked higher than the long-term care facility. It is concluded that clinical learning activities are vital to nursing education.
