Research was gathered on the business and financial environment, macroeconomic factors, and the outlook of Rackspace Hosting, Inc.'s (RAX ) sustainability. Discounted Cash Flow analysis, forecasted financials, and multiples analyses were used to calculate a target price for the company. RAX is an open cloud company and founded OpenStack, the worlds fastest-growing open cloud platform and developer community. We give RAX a hold recommendation with a target price of $68.23 and a target price range of $66.07-$70.38. Apart from being in an overall risky industry, we believe that RAX s business model is easy to replicate and its growth is not sustainable.
