Description

Drawing is a common metal forming experiment that is useful in determining a metal’s properties by analyzing the strain on various parts of the sample or blank. My goal is to make these blanks fail or tear since there is more useful data to be gathered by a failed blank than a successful one. Once the experiment is done, I measure the percent strains on different parts of the blank and record them.
