I'm currently exploring concepts of self curation and self reflection by way of our social media-centric lifestyles in an ongoing series of portrait paintings I call Selfie Portraits. The Selfie Portrait series was founded on the concept of self curation via social media. I like the idea of holding a mirror up to our online personas and recreating that reflection using a more tangible medium like paints in an effort to encapsulate modern life.
