Abstract
Been Here Before is a collection that invites the reader to learn about a different world where magic, God, family, and the South coexist, sometimes harmoniously. The stories all occur in the same world, with recurring characters and themes. This is a way to show that each story and the characters are connected. It also allows the reader to discover what happened to some of the protagonists' lives as time passed.
