Abstract
Right by You is a collection of short stories that explores the themes of loneliness and personal growth. In much of the work, we see characters ricocheting sloppily off the situation they are in, or the role that they play in the world, on their way to a realization that they are not as flawed as they or society might think. Other times, we see them doing something bravely despite the horror of the situation and growing into themselves. These stories are parables about your choice to be your own worst enemy or your own best friend.
