Abstract

A New York horror writer returns to his Texas hometown with his family, only to discover that the world of his most famous book may be buried within. When his young son Billy disappears while searching for answers, Robert discovers Ghost Town, a surreal mirror world fueled by dreams and inhabited by distorted echoes of the townspeople.

Guided by a sarcastic ghost girl, Robert must confront his past and his controlling nature as a father. Through a series of bizarre trials, he learns to trust the imagination he once rejected. Robert Lord’ s Ghost Town is a story about family, memory, and the struggle to understand those closest to us, revealing how dreams of all kinds fuel the world around (and beneath) us.
