Description
Jordan Bridges was born in New Orleans in 1988 and was raised in the city. He attended Ben Franklin High School and was a member of the "Katrina class," as the hurricane hit during his senior year. He went on to study biology at LSU. Bridges is a musician and singer, a passion he inherited from his mother and grandmother. His life was significantly altered by an incident of police brutality in 2011. Before his current role, he ran for state representative and worked on political campaigns. He is the Organizing Director for the New Orleans Workers Center for Racial Justice.
