Abstract
A coming-of-age story, this collection of essays looks at the traumatic effects of sexual assault, being an Official Sad Girl, and the complicated and conflicting desires that come with being human. It is about exploring how we handle the wreckage we do to ourselves and others, and the healing that takes place after. All of this is to say: this is a collection about survival.
