Abstract
This dissertation examines the evolving role of financial technology (FinTech) and green investment in shaping financial stability, sustainability, and corporate governance across global markets. Using cross-country data and a combination of static and dynamic econometric techniques, the study provides new evidence on how digital innovation and sustainability-oriented investments jointly influence financial systems and corporate behavior. Overall, this dissertation contributes to the literature by integrating FinTech and sustainability perspectives within a unified empirical framework. The findings suggest that while digital innovation and green investment promote sustainable outcomes, they also introduce new risks that require effective governance and regulatory oversight. These results offer important implications for policymakers, financial institutions, and corporate stakeholders seeking to balance innovation, sustainability, and financial stability in an increasingly digital and environmentally conscious global economy.
