Description
Clarence "Chip" Fleetwood Jr. is the Business Manager and Secretary-Treasurer of IUPAT District Council 10, a jurisdiction covering Louisiana, Texas, and Oklahoma. He was a second-generation union member, having followed his father into the trade as a painter and wallpaper hanger in 1995. Over his career, he worked in the field, became a foreman, an instructor, and a job steward before taking on full-time roles with the union. He served as a business representative, director of organizing, and political director. He was also the Secretary-Treasurer for the Greater New Orleans AFL-CIO. His experience spanned hands-on trade work, contract enforcement, organizing campaigns, and political advocacy.
